[Biochem-users] Upgrade of bcf.uthscsa.edu

On Friday, December 8th, the bcf.uthscsa.edu server and computational
cluster will be offline all day from 8:00 am on. We will upgrade the
operating system for security and performance reasons. We will also
install a new parallel filesystem on the computational nodes that will
dramatically increase the storage capacity on bcf.

Please plan accordingly.

The following services will be affected:

NCBI databases
Mascot searches
VNC user sessions
CAUMA database and web portal
USLIMS and Ultrascan web portals
All MySQL databases
