In the HSQC tutorial: the directory on the avance600 has to be set to /avance600.
There is some "save as default" command that may have to be added to the
tutorial.
-
Should carve out a separate "setup" page and add the usefullness of adding
to the .cshrc file:
-
setenv data /avance600/data/hardies/nmr to my .cshrc file
-
the pp definition
-
On the avance 600, there is a ref section on both u and avance600 disks.
Only the one on the avance600 disk is set up. The HSCQ tutorial should
note this.
-
Need to run though various docs updateing avance6001, and avance5001, avance5002
-
In HSQC tutorial, clarify that dEfAuLt is acquired by <file><new>.
-
I have a partial account of how the edasp panel should be set up.
Complete it with description of what's in the HNCACB dataset and get to
web document.

For calib15n, the connections are:
-
Nuc 1 f1 to FCU1 to H 100.0 W to mid panel on input side of switch box
to
lower connection on the output side of the switch box
labeled 1H to preamp bottom box labeled
1H. Settings: BF1 600.0800000 MHz, SFO1 600.0846207
MHz,
OFSH1 4620.70 Hz
-
Nuc 2 was not set; presumably the 13C signal usually goes here.
-
Nuc 3 F3 to FCU3 to X 300.0 W; it doesn't go through the switch box or
the preamp.
Settings: BF3 60.8055960 MHz, SFO3 60.8103443, OFSX1 4748.300
Hz
-
Nuc 4 not set.
-
Preferred preamp: selective; Preferred output X
-
tune15n.ref has only nuc 1 set:
F1 to FCU1 to X 300.0 W to top box to top right row labeled
X to preamp 2nd box labeled X-BB19F_2HS
prefered preamp: selective, Preferred output for 19F:
X

What was the change that was updated in a hydrogen pulse times in the HNCACBSE.ref
pulse program?

What are the criteria to judge in planes data in the HNCACBSE?

What are the symptoms that suggest a spectrometer reboot is necessary?
Absorb Andy's comments on instrumentation page to my recovery from failure
page.

Gas flow problem issues: is 525 l/hr nominal? Under what circumstances
is it changed.
-
What functions will the cryoprobe allow on the Avance600, and will it preclude
some experiments that we currently do there?
-
When the Avance600 is upgraded to xwinnmr, will permission to make changes
out of edasp be altered to be like the Avance500 is now?
-
The radiation damping page probably overstates some of my personal rationalizations
for why it works the way it does. After I see how Andy comments on
this, I should change the language some. I ought to consider putting
disclaimers on my pages that these are my notes, not authoratative tutorials.

Andy says dB= 20 * log (P/P0) where P = 1/t. I assume that means
delta dB = 20* log (t1/t2) for any two correctly calibrated 90 degree pulses
on the same sample. I checked this on several well calibrated pulse
sets. The deviation of the observed delta dB was always less than
that projected by this equation and in the range 1-10% (typically ~ 4%)
less. Check this relation out with the pulse series taken 7/24/02.

Do some T jumps with a water sample and see what is the temperature affect
on lock signal. Is Andy proposing that there is a T effect on lock
signal strength, or that the effect of coupling radiation is indirect through
disrupting shimming?
-
If you shim carefully at one temp. and then change the temp., aren't you
still shimmed? no.
-
Put the shim adjustment after starting acquisition in some protocol
-
Figure out about autoshim.

See what eda says about AC_mod and DIGMODE for hncacb dataset. Where,
how is DQD set?

Do some T jumps with ethylene glycol to see what the equilibration time
is.
